Amanda V. Lehman

Hi! My name is Amanda and I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. I am currently working as a full time graphic designer for Cisco. In my spare time, however, I love to create art in many forms. I am well versed in creating art using graphite, ink, acrylic, oil, and watercolor. I have recently began to dive into creating jewelry and accessories using clay and resin.

A few fun facts about me!

I am originally from Boston, MA, but I now live in St. Petersburg, FL. During my senior year of high school, I enlisted in the United States Air Force. After my military career, I worked multiple dead end jobs out of fear of following my true passion. Before long, however, I ventured into a local community college and signed up to begin taking classes in Visual Communications. I have been fortunate enough to work in the design world professionally for 10 years (and still going). After several years of working as a graphic designer, I decided that I wanted to return to school to further my knowledge of art with a concentration in painting.

I attended Salem State University, where my major was fine arts with a concentration in painting and minored in English. During my scholastic career, I continued to work full time while taking full time classes. After my first semester at Salem State, I was honored to receive a full scholarship to continue my art classes. Additionally, I received the Vito Sammartano award for exceeding creative expectations in my craft.
